I recently started hiking and I wanted to share my experience with you. I’ve always loved being outdoors, and hiking seemed like a great way to explore new places and get some exercise. Plus, it’s a great way to clear my mind and relax.
Our first hike to Lion's Head in Tobermory
A few weeks ago, my wife and I, along with three of our friends, went on our first hike to Lion's Head in Tobermory. The trail was beautiful, with trees and peaceful atmosphere. However, it was not sunny at all. It was raining, and the terrain was quite muddy, which made the hike a bit challenging. Despite the whether, we enjoyed the hike and the fresh air.
During the hike, we took our time, stopping to take photos and just appreciate the beauty of around us. There were some tough parts because of the muddy ground, but we felt proud when we reach on the top. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience as well - our cruise trip in Tobermory got cancelled due to bad weather. However, we spent a lot of time at the Lion’s Head spot, and it was great. We enjoyed the scene and had some good laughs together.
A glimpse of our Tobermory hike, thanks to Fidha’s amazing video skills.
Using the AllTrails App
To help me plan my hikes, I decided to pay for the AllTrails App. It’s been really helpful. The app has detailed reviews from other hikers, which made it easier for us to choose the right trail. I also like that it tracks my progress and let me know about any upcoming turns or difficult sections.
Upcoming Hike to Gros Morne National Park
Next week, I am going to hike Gros Morne National Park with my wife and the same groups of friends who went to Tobermory. I’m really looking forward to it. From what I’ve heard and seen in social media, the trails has some amazing view and I am excited to experience it. I hope the weather will be nice there next week.
Looking ahead!
Hiking has already had a positive impact on me. It’s helping me to stay active and giving me a chance to explore the beauty of the nature. I plan to keep hiking and discovering new trails. My wife and I really enjoy hiking and we feel like it’s a great opportunity to connect wth nature. If you haven’t tried hiking, I really recommend it. It’s a great way to disconnect with daily stress and connect with nature.
I hope to share more of my adventures with you soon!
